Was traveling through Amsterdam about a month ago while visiting from the United States, Hawaii to be exact. While exploring the city, I randomly walked by your store and saw a lot of gear which caught my attention. I love the earth tones, the vintage look, and the leather accents and trim. I initially was hesitant to get and I told myself I'd walk around and think about it. Well after walking around for a few hours, I couldn't get the green Karl bag out of my mind so I left my family at a restaurant and made a 20 minute walk back to your store. I'm so glad I went back. I'm back home now and sometimes I just take the Karl out just to admire the design and durability of it. Words cannot express my love for it and I can brag saying that I bought it directly from your store in Amsterdam!

I love this backpack. I‘ve had the old black one made from military Nilon for almost 7 years now. After an accident which made it necessary for me to wear a hipbelt to distribute the weight better I gave my „old one“ (still looking brandnew although having been through countless backs of pick up trucks through desserts, having been handled on boats in south east Asia and many more experiences from long time backpacking) and there was no other choice for me than to get a new Karl with a hip belt. By now I even sold my old carry on trolley, solely using my Karl for every trip from a weekend away through a week of official conferences out of town up to 4 weeks of backpacking around the world. Because of it‘s beautiful looks and my raving review even two friends of mine bought one themselves and they are equally in love with it. This bag has amazing quality, beautiful looks and is easy to organize even for long term travel. It‘s worth every cent!

My son was travelling around the world on a two year OE. Fron New Zealand. While in Amsterdam he located your store and found your bag the "Karl" . He contacted me and told me he had found the most amazing bag but it was a bit expensive for him at the time and so as a birthday gift I sent him the money to enable him to buy the bag. He was so excited about the bag he videoed me raving about it and I still have that video on my feed.

At the time he purchased the color black.

Unfortunately while in the UK the bag was stolen from a car that he had it in while out with mates, and while devastated at the lost of the contents which included all of his teaching materials and his passport he was devastated about the loss of his backpack.

When he got to Australia he purchased a new backpack but was complaining to me that that it just wasn't the same.

He couldn't remember the name of the store, so on a mission I started searching for canvas backpacks in Amsterdam and ended up being able to find your store online with the very backpack that had been stolen although not in the same colour.

My emails were answered promptly, the purchase was simple, communication was super fast and efficient and the delivery tracked every step of the way.

I had such pleasure giving him the gift of a new backpack which was a total surprise to him.

Even yesterday he picked it up looked at me and just said mum I absolutely love this big I never thought I would see this again.

Unfortunately he hadn't registered the ID tag at the time of the loss of the first bag but we have since done that with the second.

The quality of the bag is amazing, super sturdy. the size is incredibly versatile from the ability to roll the bag up and down, and while a bit more expensive it is a bag that will definitely last a lifetime.
